The Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Coverage role provides a fixed base schedule with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings. You will support a logistics and distribution site in Hammond, IN, providing customer service, patrols, and access control with a six month anchor shift commitment. This position emphasizes flexible hours, income stability, and potential progression toward full-time hours. What You'll Do5
- 1Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies
- 2Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations
- 3Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter
- 4Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles
- 5Observe loading unloading and vehicle movement areas for security concerns and report issues promptly
Requirements5
- 1Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed roles
- 2Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- 3Subject to background investigation in compliance with laws
- 4Drug screen as permitted by law
- 5Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
