Security Officer Part Time Enhanced, Unarmed Patrol Driver
Overview
Security Officer Enhanced Part Time role focusing on unarmed patrol and driver duties at fixed sites with flexible shifts. You will join a collaborative security team and support customer service while maintaining site safety. This position offers anchoring shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings. You will gain hands-on experience and have a path toward broader security responsibilities.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and perform regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity
- 2Respond to incidents calmly and professionally following post orders and escalation procedures
- 3Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns
- 4Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain logs of patrols and incidents
- 5Support visitors, employees, and the public with courteous customer service
- 6Drive as needed to patrol multiple sites and respond to requests
- 7Coordinate with site personnel to address security-related issues
- 8Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate
- 9Participate in shift-handoffs and communicate site security status to colleagues
- 10Attend training to improve skills and knowledge of site procedures
Requirements10
- 1At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience
- 2Valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy
- 3Age requirement: 21+ for armed roles, 18+ for unarmed roles
- 4High school diploma or equivalent
- 5Background check as required by law and drug screen where permitted
- 6Ability to work fixed anchor shifts with potential to pick up extra shifts
- 7Customer service experience preferred
- 8Must meet state and local licensing requirements for security personnel
- 9Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and follow post orders
- 10Physical ability to perform patrols and drive as needed
