Security Officer, Part Time Corporate Building Patrol
Overview
Security professionals protect assets and people in corporate settings with a calm, professional presence. You will patrol financial institution locations to deter incidents and assist visitors and employees. Work a part-time schedule that offers flexible shifts and opportunities to explore new roles within the organization. You will use customer service skills to communicate observations and respond to incidents per policy.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and perform regular unarmed patrols of the facility including entrances, parking areas, ATM zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity
- 2Respond to alarms and incidents in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner following escalation and reporting procedures
- 3Monitor access points and observe activity while assisting with directions and inquiries
- 4Document observations and incidents in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures
- 5Provide customer service to clients, members, visitors, and employees by executing security procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate
Requirements9
- 1At least 6 months of security-related experience
- 2Guard card or license preferred
- 3Customer service experience preferred
- 4State, county, or city-issued security license preferred
- 5High school diploma or equivalent
- 6Background check required
- 7Drug screen required where permitted by law
- 8Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles, 21 for armed roles
- 9Valid driver’s license required for driving positions if applicable
