Security Officer Patrol Driver Flex
Overview
You will own patrol and access control at residential properties in Huntington Beach, CA, with a fixed weekly shift and the option to pick up extra shifts. You will join Allied Universal's security team, working alongside other officers and reporting to site supervisors. This role offers flexibility to scale from part-time to full-time hours up to 40 hours per week, with a 6-month commitment to your anchor shift. You will use our scheduling platform to claim additional shifts, making this ideal for supplemental income or career growth in security.
What You'll Do5
- 1Patrol residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeters on foot and by vehicle to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- 2Monitor access points and visitor activity, enforcing site policies to maintain an orderly environment.
- 3Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations with a calm, professional, problem-solving approach, documenting observations and actions per site procedures.
- 4Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- 5Communicate clearly with site contacts, residents, visitors, and emergency responders while maintaining accurate daily activity and incident reports.
Requirements7
- 12+ years of security-related experience
- 2Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy
- 321 years of age or older for armed roles; 18 years for unarmed roles
- 4CPR certification preferred
- 5High school diploma or equivalent
- 6Pass background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law
- 7State or local licensing may be required prior to employment
