Overview

What You'll Do6
- 1Build and perform regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings and surrounding areas to identify unusual conditions and report them.
- 2Monitor access points, verify credentials, and address access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- 3Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with emergency responders.
- 4Prepare accurate patrol activity reports and incident documentation in required reporting systems.
- 5Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while enforcing campus policies.
- 6Support a welcoming campus environment and collaborate with campus contacts to maintain safety and order.
Requirements6
- 1Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- 2Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- 3Subject to a background investigation
- 4Drug screening as permitted by law
- 5Licensed by New York State Department of State (for positions requiring licensing)
- 6Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
