You will safeguard a Medical Campus in New York, New York, conducting patrols and responding to incidents for a leading security services firm. You will work alongside a team of security professionals, reporting to a site supervisor. This role offers full-time hours with flexible shifts, and a starting pay of $20.00 - $21.00 per hour.
What You'll Do7
- 1Provide customer service to clients by enforcing safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols.
- 2Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
- 3Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying conditions.
- 4Monitor access points and verify credentials, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the campus.
- 5Document incidents and observations in a daily activity report, noting any irregularities.
- 6Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- 7Operate security systems, including CCTV and access control systems, to monitor premises.
Requirements6
- 118+ years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- 3Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- 4Pass a drug screen as permitted by law.
- 5Hold a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
- 6Flexible availability for shifts Monday through Saturday, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
