Security Officer, Unarmed Site Patrol
Overview
You will safeguard a government services facility in New York, NY, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents and ensure safety. You will patrol assigned areas, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism, documenting all activity. What You'll Do6
- 1Patrol assigned areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter on a regular basis to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
- 2Monitor access points and verify visitor authorization, directing individuals to appropriate locations per site procedures.
- 3Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly, notifying site personnel or emergency services as needed.
- 4Document observations and prepare incident reports and daily activity logs per Allied Universal and site standards.
- 5Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- 6Carry out site-specific emergency response procedures, including evacuation and lockdown protocols, as required.
Requirements6
- 1Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- 2Have 1+ year of security-related experience.
- 3Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- 4Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- 5Pass a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
- 6Hold a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
