Overview
Protect campus communities on an overnight schedule as an unarmed patrol officer at a college campus in Brooklyn NY. You will deter incidents with a visible presence, respond to alarms and incidents, and provide courteous customer service to students faculty staff and visitors. You will work with a collaborative team and support a safe welcoming environment while following site procedures and policies. What You'll Do5
- 1Build a culture of safety through regular foot and vehicle patrols of buildings parking areas walkways and perimeter zones to deter unauthorized activity.
- 2Monitor access points observe activity and report unusual conditions maintenance concerns and policy violations according to site procedures.
- 3Respond to security concerns incidents and alarms in a calm problem solving manner and notify campus contacts or emergency responders as directed.
- 4Complete required activity reports incident documentation and shift logs accurately and in a timely manner.
- 5Provide exceptional customer service to students faculty staff and visitors while upholding security procedures and campus policies.
Requirements7
- 1Have at least 2 years of security related experience
- 2Possess a New York State Security Guard License
- 3Be at least 21 years of age
- 4CPR First Aid certification is preferred
- 5High school diploma or equivalent
- 6Background check and drug screen as required by law
- 7Valid driver's license required for driving positions only
