What You'll Do9
- 1Plan procure and install Video Surveillance Systems Access Control Systems Intrusion Detection Systems and perform preventive maintenance
- 2Conduct inventory capture and update records for electronic security equipment
- 3Provide technical assistance to colleagues and serve as client expert
- 4Perform electrical troubleshooting and device testing using test equipment
- 5Follow layout sheets and schematics to execute tasks
- 6Document, schedule and close work orders with detailed descriptions
- 7Complete expense reports weekly and submit monthly activity documentation
- 8Drive system upgrades and repairs as needed
- 9Obtain Department of Treasury clearance or ability to do so
Requirements11
- 1Approximately 3+ years of experience in government or commercial installations
- 2Demonstrated experience with Circuitry basics Wiring Fiber Optic CAT6 Troubleshooting
- 3Mandatory experience in Video Surveillance Systems Access Control Systems Intrusion Detection Systems
- 4Formal training as a low voltage electrician preferred
- 5Certifications in Identiv Hirsch Software House Bosch Honeywell Exacq
- 6Ability to lift items up to 25 lbs
- 7Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- 8Valid driver’s license with clean record
- 9GED required
- 10Pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
- 11Military experience encouraged
