The School Compliance Manager leads compliance initiatives at a KIPP DC campus overseeing federal and state requirements. This exempt role reports to the Associate Director of School Support and Service. The position involves partnering with school teams to manage documentation and support families while balancing administrative duties and onsite presence.
What You'll Do11
- 1Partner with school teams to implement monitoring and documentation of KIPP DC compliance across federal and state mandates
- 2Support ESSA program adherence and address attendance concerns for students with 20+ absences
- 3Execute campus enrollment strategies focusing on residency verification and documentation accuracy
- 4Coordinate communication with families regarding required paperwork and collaborate with school leadership
- 5Maintain enrollment systems and lead audit preparation for comprehensive school audits
- 6Support campus operations through active participation in enrollment and immunization efforts
- 7Assist with health record maintenance and medication tracking in alignment with DOCIIS requirements
- 8Become certified as an Administrator of Medication to oversee adherence and training programs
- 9Foster positive relationships with families and staff while upholding KIPP DC's mission of academic excellence
- 10Ensure compliance with immunization and health regulations through systematic data entry
- 11Serve as a team member contributing to student recruitment and enrichment activities

- 1Bachelor's degree with 4 years relevant experience and 2 years in education settings
- 2Proven ability to learn new systems like PowerSchool and student information platforms
- 3Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for record management
