Sanitarian - Food Safety & Health Compliance
Overview
You will own food safety and sanitation compliance across all food and beverage operations at Nashville SC's Geodis Park, serving 30,000+ fans per event. You'll inspect kitchens, concessions, and storage areas, conduct HACCP audits, and enforce ServSafe standards. Reporting to the operations leadership, you'll partner with culinary teams to maintain a best-in-class safety culture. This contract role offers $25/hour with early wage access through the EVEN app and a chance to protect the Levy brand at a premier sports venue.
What You'll Do9
- 1Conduct daily inspections of kitchens, concessions, bars, and storage areas to enforce food safety and sanitation standards.
- 2Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations, including HACCP principles.
- 3Verify proper food receiving, storage, preparation, cooking, cooling, reheating, holding, and service procedures.
- 4Perform temperature audits and maintain documentation using Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems.
- 5Coordinate corrective actions for any food safety deficiencies, partnering with culinary and operations teams.
- 6Prepare for health department inspections and internal audits, maintaining detailed records.
- 7Investigate food safety concerns, guest complaints, and contamination incidents, documenting findings.
- 8Train and coach team members on sanitation procedures, personal hygiene, and ServSafe practices.
- 9Monitor chemical handling, labeling, and storage to ensure safety compliance.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED.
- 2ServSafe Manager Certification or ability to obtain within established timeframe.
- 3Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- 4Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- 5Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- 6Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- 7Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems.
- 8Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Public Health, or related field.
- 9Preferred: HACCP certification or experience implementing HACCP programs.
- 10Preferred: Experience in high-volume hospitality, sports, or restaurant operations.
