What You'll Do12
- 1Develop and execute sales strategies to hit dealership sales goals and targets within the first 90 days.
- 2Monitor and analyze sales performance, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue, to drive improvement.
- 3Lead the sales team by setting expectations, conducting reviews, and coaching for skill growth.
- 4Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to ensure they own the skills needed for success.
- 5Handle personnel issues, from conflict resolution to employee development, fostering a positive culture.
- 6Ensure exceptional customer service from initial contact to post-sale follow-up, including offering test drives to all prospects.
- 7Resolve customer complaints promptly and implement satisfaction initiatives to improve the experience.
- 8Oversee the sales process: lead management, vehicle demos, negotiations, and closing deals.
- 9Collaborate with inventory and reconditioning teams to optimize vehicle levels and prepare cars for sale.
- 10Work with marketing to execute promotional campaigns that boost traffic and sales.
- 11Prepare and process sales documentation, ensuring compliance and accurate records.

Requirements10
- 17+ years of automotive sales experience.
- 23+ years as a Sales Manager in a dealership.
- 3Valid state sales license and California driver's license within 30 days of hire.
- 4Proven track record in the California automotive industry.
- 5Safe driving record and at least one year of verifiable driving experience.
- 6Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
- 7Proficient in dealership management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- 8Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and develop staff.
- 9Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- 10Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
