The role emphasizes field sampling, data interpretation, and clear technical reporting to support continuous health and safety improvements. What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and conduct facility safety inspections, job hazard analyses, and risk assessments to identify hazards
  • 2Perform field industrial hygiene activities including air and noise monitoring and sampling with appropriate instrumentation
  • 3Evaluate chemical, physical, biological, ergonomic hazards and recommend control measures using hierarchy of controls
  • 4Develop and support implementation of safety and industrial hygiene programs, procedures, training materials, and corrective action plans
  • 5Prepare technical reports, sampling summaries, inspection findings, and client-ready recommendations
  • 6Collaborate with clients and team members to improve compliance and reduce occupational risk
  • 7Support incident reviews, root-cause analyses, and corrective action development
  • 8Maintain documentation and organize field data for deliverables across multiple projects
  • 9Stay current with OSHA regulations and related standards and apply them to client environments
  • 10Engage in knowledge transfer to strengthen client safety culture and continuous improvement

Requirements9

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
  • 25+ years of safety and industrial hygiene or EHS experience
  • 3Demonstrated experience with safety inspections, hazard assessments, and corrective action tracking
  • 4Industrial hygiene experience including air and noise sampling and data interpretation against exposure criteria
  • 5Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and related standards; familiarity with EPA, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA is beneficial
  • 6Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, CIH preferred or progress toward certification
  • 7Strong written communication and client-service skills
  • 8Mechanical aptitude to evaluate equipment and processes in industrial settings
  • 9Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and organizing field data into deliverables
