What You'll Do8
- 1Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
- 2Follow safety guidelines and procedures during all operations.
- 3Facilitate safe distribution of materials onto flat and sloped roofs according to company protocols.
- 4Operate conveyor belt systems where trained and certified to transport building materials from flatbed trucks to rooftops.
- 5Accurately verify and reconcile material orders.
- 6Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
- 7Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- 8Collaborate with drivers and team members to coordinate loading and unloading processes.
Requirements11
- 1Physically fit capable of lifting heavy items up to 100 lbs and operating machinery.
- 2Good balance and comfort working at significant heights on varied roof surfaces.
- 3Primary duties include loading unloading transporting and positioning materials on rooftops.
- 4Must follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE such as hard hats safety harnesses and gloves.
- 5Ability to lift heavy loads operate machinery and maintain proper use of PPE.
- 6Reliable transportation for commuting authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship.
- 7Pass criminal and driving background checks and complete a pre-employment drug test.
- 8Proficient in verbal and written English with optional Spanish skills.
- 9Strong safety awareness regarding OSHA guidelines and proper PPE usage.
- 10Availability Monday through Friday with potential overtime based on delivery schedules and peak seasons.
- 11Forklift certification preferred.
