What You'll Do9
- 1Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety.
- 2Verify inventory accuracy against delivery manifests before departure.
- 3Deliver building materials securely, preventing damage, to job sites within a 200-mile radius.
- 4Assess job site conditions to identify hazards and coordinate with customers for safe material placement.
- 5Document deliveries with photos per company policy using a mobile device.
- 6Load and unload materials using forklifts or manually, handling up to 100 lbs.
- 7Work in varied weather and noisy environments, following all safety protocols.
- 8Provide professional customer service, addressing questions and concerns on-site.
- 9Support yard operations as needed, including organizing inventory and assisting with staging.
Requirements8
- 11-2 years of commercial driving experience with a clean record.
- 2Valid CDL Class A or Class B with air brakes endorsement and DOT medical certificate.
- 3FMCSA registration verified through the Clearinghouse.
- 4Ability to operate forklifts or Moffett forklifts safely.
- 5Capability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 100 lbs.
- 6Proficiency in reading job-related documents in English.
- 7Willingness to work varied hours, including early mornings and weekends.
- 8Pass background check, drug test, and E-Verify verification.
