CDL Driver, Building Product Delivery
Overview
ABC Supply drivers deliver exterior and interior building products across the Boston area, home every night. You own the safety and accuracy of each drop from branch to job site. What You'll Do9
- 1Build customer trust by treating each client with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- 2Execute assigned delivery schedules, following every job directive precisely to ensure on-time drops.
- 3Document each delivery step: take and upload photos with the camera phone system to prove completion.
- 4Conduct a thorough load check on your Class B truck before leaving the branch, securing materials and confirming compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- 5Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler to spot materials and unload safely.
- 6Complete and file all logs and government paperwork (DOT, hours of service) on time.
- 7Manage invoicing: present the invoice at delivery, collect COD payments in full.
- 8Lift and load 70-pound shingle bundles repeatedly, ensuring warehouse and truck productivity.
- 9Handle warehouse duties as assigned, including loading/unloading materials onto trucks.
Requirements5
- 1Valid Class B CDL with clean record.
- 2Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly, especially 70-pound shingle bundles.
- 3Pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug tests.
- 4Flatbed truck experience preferred.
- 5Trailer-mounted forklift experience preferred.
