Field Supervisor, Residential Roofing
Overview
You own daily field operations for Bone Dry Roofing, leading residential roofing crews to complete projects on time and to standard. You run job sites from readiness to final inspection, coordinating crews, workflow, and homeowner communication. The role blends hands-on supervision with customer-facing duties, ensuring expectations are met at every stage. You work Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime and two Saturdays per month during peak season. What You'll Do8
- 1Lead roofing crews on residential jobs, assigning tasks and monitoring progress from start to completion.
- 2Oversee daily jobsite activities, including site readiness, material staging, and safety compliance.
- 3Communicate with homeowners throughout the roofing process, setting expectations and resolving concerns.
- 4Enforce company standards for quality, safety, and workmanship on every project.
- 5Coordinate with internal production staff to manage workflow priorities and schedule adjustments.
- 6Drive crew development by training and motivating team members on best practices.
- 7Inspect completed work to verify it meets OSHA safety guidelines and company quality benchmarks.
- 8Resolve on-site issues quickly, from material shortages to weather delays, while maintaining productivity.
Requirements8
- 11-2 years of roofing or construction industry experience with proven ability to supervise crews.
- 2Valid driver's license and clean driving record to operate company vehicle and tow trailers.
- 3Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights up to 30 feet on residential roofs.
- 4Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- 5Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
- 6Strong customer service skills with experience managing homeowner expectations.
- 7Flexibility to work overtime and two Saturdays per month from April through October.
- 8Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and residential roofing materials such as asphalt shingles.
