Overview

You will own low-sloped roof system installation and maintenance across Los Angeles. 3+ years with TPO, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, and EPDM gains you lead roles on complex projects. You will report to the Foreman, train crew members, and drive quality and safety on every job. With a company vehicle, full tool supply, and Leister welder operation, this role rewards technical skill with autonomy.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Install and maintain low-sloped roofs with TPO, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, and EPDM to manufacturer specs.
  • 2Operate Leister welder, hot air gun, and propane torch for seams and flashing.
  • 3Read project specs and warranty conditions, then execute to code and company safety standards.
  • 4Document client progress and create daily reports via tablet.
  • 5Direct crew members on-site, supporting the Foreman with training and task delegation.
  • 6Inspect existing roof systems and identify repair or replacement needs.
  • 7Maintain clean and safe work zones, following OSHA guidelines.
  • 8Coordinate material handling and staging with the Foreman.

Requirements8

  • 13+ years installing low-slope roofing systems (TPO, PVC, BUR, mod bit, EPDM).
  • 2Hands-on operation of Leister welder, hot air gun, and propane torch.
  • 3Ability to read and follow manufacturer installation and warranty specs.
  • 4Proficient with tablets and smartphones for reporting and communication.
  • 5Valid driver's license and clean driving record for company vehicle use.
  • 6Physical stamina to work on roofs in all weather, lift 50+ lbs.
  • 7OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • 8High school diploma or GED equivalent.
