What You'll Do10
- 1Install and repair commercial roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, and standing seam metal within the first 90 days.
- 2Apply hot air welding and other single-ply application techniques to ensure watertight seams.
- 3Work on steep slope roof assemblies, using aerial lifts and fall protection gear to access hard-to-reach areas.
- 4Troubleshoot leaks and structural issues on existing roofs, then implement durable repair solutions.
- 5Read and interpret blueprints and specification sheets to guide material selection and installation order.
- 6Coordinate with the crew lead to sequence daily tasks and hit project milestones on schedule.
- 7Maintain a clean and organized work site, following OSHA10 and OSHA30 safety protocols at all times.
- 8Document daily progress with photos and notes to support project closeout reports.
- 9Operate and maintain hot air welder, crane, and forklift equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
- 10Assist in loading and unloading roofing materials, ensuring proper placement and weight distribution.
Requirements11
- 13+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred, including TPO, PVC, EPDM, or metal systems.
- 21-2 years of experience with steep slope roofing such as shingle, slate, or tile (preferred).
- 3Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- 4Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- 5OSHA10 or OSHA30 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
- 6Experience with hot air welder and roofing application tools (preferred).
- 7Physical stamina to work on steep roofs in varying weather conditions, plus the ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- 8Basic math skills for measuring and cutting roofing materials accurately.
- 9Comfortable working at heights and using aerial lifts and scaffolding.
- 10Professional communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- 11Willingness to learn through on-the-job training and advance into lead roles.
