Roofing & Solar Technician at Olson & Sons Contracting
Overview
We seek a skilled professional to lead residential roof inspections and solar cleanings while supporting additional roof and solar tasks. Training and equipment are provided. Outdoor work includes heights and customer interaction. Opportunities exist for bonuses and growth.
What You'll Do9
- 1Perform residential roof inspections and document findings
- 2Complete solar cleanings and support basic solar system-related service tasks
- 3Carry out roof-related repairs and replacement work including tile and joint replacements
- 4Install bird proofing solutions around roof areas where required
- 5Work safely on ladders and rooftops while following all jobsite safety procedures
- 6Communicate professionally with homeowners/customers when onsite
- 7Keep work areas organized and ensure jobs are completed to company standards
- 8Assist the team with daily job execution and workflow planning
- 9Accurately report job progress and any job opportunities for quoting/bonuses
Requirements7
- 1No previous experience required (training provided)
- 2Valid driver’s license
- 3Ability to travel to/from work locations if needed (reliable transportation required if the company vehicle is not used for every job)
- 4Comfortable working at heights (ladders/roof access)
- 5Good communication skills and confidence interacting with customers
- 6Willingness to work outdoors and in residential environments
- 7Safety-minded and able to follow procedures on every job
Salary Insight
$31 - $104k per year
