What You'll Do8
- 1Lead daily jobsite operations, setting the standard for safety, quality, and production.
- 2Direct solar PV installs: racking, mounting, module placement, array layout, and watertight flashing.
- 3Coordinate with electricians and subcontractors on wiring, interconnection, and inspection readiness.
- 4Lead and perform commercial roofing work on TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, and metal roofing when solar projects are light.
- 5Manage materials, equipment, weather monitoring, and end-of-day protection.
- 6Keep projects on schedule within labor-hour targets while enforcing OSHA compliance.
- 7Mentor crew members on productivity, accountability, and accurate time tracking.
- 8Read and interpret shop drawings, site plans, and PV layouts to guide installation.
Requirements10
- 1OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.
- 23+ years of construction experience.
- 32-3 years of commercial solar PV installation experience.
- 42-3 years of roofing experience with TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, or metal roofing.
- 5Familiarity with solar racking and mounting hardware, plus jobsite electrical safety practices.
- 6Ability to obtain security clearance for military and secured job sites.
- 7Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, site plans, and PV layouts.
- 8Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- 9Willing to travel and perform elevated work (rooftops).
- 10Pass pre-employment drug test and physical requirements, including lifting 50 lbs.
