What You'll Do10

  • 1Design and program PLC-based control systems using Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.
  • 2Develop robotic systems from concept through full integration using Fanuc, KUKA, ABB, or Yaskawa robots.
  • 3Perform offline programming, simulation, and system validation for robotic and automation systems.
  • 4Integrate robotics, motion control, vision systems, sensors, and safety systems into complete automation solutions.
  • 5Commission automation systems in-house and at customer sites, including domestic and international travel.
  • 6Troubleshoot system issues across electrical, mechanical, and controls components for reliable operation.
  • 7Execute system testing to verify performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
  • 8Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and project teams to deliver integrated systems on time.
  • 9Provide on-site customer support and training during installation, commissioning, and handoff.
  • 10Create and maintain project documentation, including programs, schematics, and test records.

Requirements13

  • 16+ years of experience in controls engineering, robotics, or industrial automation.
  • 2Strong PLC programming experience with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens platforms.
  • 3Hands-on experience with industrial robotics systems such as Fanuc, KUKA, ABB, or Yaskawa.
  • 4Proven ability to perform offline programming and carry projects through full integration and commissioning.
  • 5Experience commissioning automated systems and custom machinery in industrial environments.
  • 6Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and controls disciplines.
  • 7Experience specifying robotics including payload, reach, safety requirements, and integration constraints.
  • 8Practical experience with controls design and automated systems software for industrial equipment.
  • 9Ability to debug hardware and software issues in PLCs, robotics, motion, and related systems.
  • 10Familiarity with test equipment and analog devices used in industrial control systems.
  • 11Knowledge of sensor systems, motion control, and vision system integration.
  • 12Understanding of ISO standards and their application in engineering design and controls.
  • 13Degree in electrical engineering or closely related discipline.
