Overview
Oversee and coordinate care for a Medical/Surgical unit at Four Peaks during night shifts with a BSN and RN licensure. You will supervise staff, ensure quality patient outcomes, and collaborate with physicians to execute care plans for stroke patients. This role supports ongoing education and development within a large nonprofit health system.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead staff development and performance management to meet unit goals
- 2Coordinate staffing, onboarding and supervision to ensure safe patient care
- 3Direct nursing care including medication administration IV management and patient assessments
- 4Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to implement the medical plan of care
- 5Drive quality improvement and evidence-based practice within the unit
- 6Facilitate interdepartmental communication and problem solving
- 7Participate in policy revisions and unit goal setting
- 8Contribute to recruitment and retention through role modeling and mentorship
- 9Conduct rounds with clinicians to improve patient experience and outcomes
- 10Provide patient and family education on post-treatment care and home plans
Requirements5
- 1BSN from an NLN/CCNE accredited program
- 2Arizona RN license (or compact state licensure)
- 32 years RN experience required
- 43 years RN experience preferred
- 5Basic Life Support BLS Healthcare Provider required
