What You'll Do11
- 1Assess patient physical psychological social spiritual educational developmental cultural discharge needs using comprehensive evaluations
- 2Formulate individualized care plans collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and patient families
- 3Implement care protocols while delegating tasks to licensed staff and supervisors
- 4Document assessments plans and evaluations accurately in patient records
- 5Provide patient education and evaluate responses to treatment
- 6Participate in unit initiatives like Progress-In-Place for diverse medical conditions
- 7Maintain compliance with BLS ACLS and occupational health requirements
- 8Coordinate care across medical surgical and progressive care acuity patients
- 9Supervise staff workflow and interact with healthcare providers and community partners
- 10Contribute to nursing quality improvement and professional development activities
- 11Complete orientation training during first week with virtual and in-person sessions
Requirements12
- 1Current RN license in state of practice or temporary/interim license
- 2Minimum 18 months registered nursing experience
- 3Minimum 12 months recent progressive care unit experience
- 4Valid BLS certification
- 5Arizona fingerprint clearance card for Banner Behavioral Health roles
- 6Additional certifications may be required based on specialty
- 7Minimum 1 year acute care experience for registry positions
- 8Valid driver's license for home health assignments
- 9Arizona criminal history affidavit for behavioral health positions
- 10Bachelor's degree preferred with professional certification
- 11Experience in acute care hospital settings within past 12 months
- 12Clinical performance validation required
