Ortho Trauma PCU RN - Banner Del Webb
Overview
Night shift RN leading patient care on PCU at Del Webb. Self-schedule 1 shift weekly. Team member eligible for registry per diem and advancement opportunities. Requires 18 months RN experience and 12 months progressive care experience.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assess patient physical psychological social spiritual educational developmental cultural discharge needs using assessment data and family input
- 2Review diagnostics and lab results reporting abnormalities to physicians and collaborate on care plans
- 3Formulate and implement individualized care plans with realistic measurable goals involving patient family and multidisciplinary team
- 4Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed nurses ensuring accurate documentation of assessments planning implementation and evaluations
- 5Provide evidence-based care coordinate with physicians and other professionals promote continuity of care across departments
- 6Participate in unit leadership share knowledge mentor colleagues and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- 7Maintain compliance with policies standards and regulatory requirements while documenting patient interactions
- 8Complete required occupational health physical drug screen and background check prior to hire
- 9Attend mandatory orientation including virtual and in-person training during first week
- 10Self-schedule weekly shifts and may be floated to observation units ED or other PCU areas as needed
- 11Collaborate with staff across service lines to address diverse patient needs and improve outcomes
Requirements9
- 1Current valid RN license in state of practice temporary/interim or compact RN licensure
- 2Minimum 18 months RN experience and 12 months progressive care experience within last 18 months
- 3BLS certification required upon hire
- 4Arizona fingerprint clearance card for Banner Behavioral Health roles in Arizona
- 5Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience for registry travel positions
- 6Bachelor's degree preferred additional relevant certifications and education
- 7Valid driver's license for personal vehicle operation
- 8Arizona criminal history affidavit for specific Banner facilities
- 9Active auto insurance coverage
