What You'll Do10
- 1Build, document, and execute doctors orders for an infant client in the home within the overnight shift
- 2Assess and monitor the child’s condition and respond to changes in status with Clinical Manager and physician input
- 3Record observations, interventions, and evaluations to maintain accurate patient records
- 4Support autonomy and deliver skilled nursing interventions in the home setting
- 5Maintain compliance with BAYADA policies, state regulations, and patient safety standards
- 6Coordinate travel to the client location and ensure timely shift coverage per schedule
- 7Communicate clearly with family about care plan, milestones, and care needs
- 8Provide one-to-one client care with a family-centered approach
- 9Participate in ongoing training and certifications offered by BAYADA
- 10Document and report any changes in the client condition to the supervising team
Requirements5
- 1Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a verifiable transcript or diploma
- 2Current nursing license in good standing in the state
- 3Availability for overnight shifts and remote scheduling as needed
- 4Experience or willingness to develop in pediatric tracheostomy and ventilator care
- 5Commitment to BAYADA values and private duty home health care standards
