Overview

Own RF test plans and automate bench measurements at scale in a hands-on Redmond lab. Collaborate with design verification, qualification, and production teams to validate RF performance across components, modules, and systems. You will build test automation, document results, and drive issue investigations with cross-functional engineers. What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and execute RF test plans and test cases for components, modules, and systems to validate RF performance
  • 2Design and maintain RF measurement fixtures, cables, adapters, and related hardware for accurate testing
  • 3Automate bench measurements using Python and related tools and develop data logging and reporting workflows
  • 4Troubleshoot RF test setups and measurement errors to ensure reliable and repeatable results
  • 5Correlate lab measurements with simulations and design expectations to validate RF performance
  • 6Support design verification, qualification, and production release testing for RF hardware
  • 7Analyze failures and lead root-cause investigations for RF performance issues in circuits and PCBs
  • 8Maintain calibration discipline and document measurement uncertainty for test integrity
  • 9Create clear engineering reports and procedures for RF test processes
  • 10Collaborate with cross-functional teams providing test data and recommendations

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 23+ years of RF or microwave testing and validation experience
  • 3Strong understanding of RF fundamentals and hardware behavior
  • 4Hands-on experience with RF test equipment such as VNA, spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators, and oscilloscopes
  • 5Experience performing RF measurements and setting up RF fixtures and test equipment
  • 6Proficiency with test automation and scripting, particularly using Python
  • 7Ability to read schematics, block diagrams, and datasheets
  • 8Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for RF circuits and PCBs
  • 9Excellent written and verbal communication for procedures and reports
  • 10Experience with HALT, HASS, ALT, TVAC testing is a plus
