What You'll Do8

  • 1Bring up PCBs from assembly integration to initial configuration for satellite antenna hardware.
  • 2Execute electrical validation, design validation, and qualification tests across multiple hardware assemblies.
  • 3Support ambient and thermal chamber test operations, ensuring data accuracy and equipment readiness.
  • 4Configure, integrate, and troubleshoot test racks, fixtures, and associated hardware infrastructure.
  • 5Read and analyze schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures to debug hardware and test setups.
  • 6Use Linux and Python to automate workflows, collect data, and analyze logs for faster debugging.
  • 7Analyze PCB failures, document findings, and participate in root cause investigations with engineering teams.
  • 8Generate clear test reports, runbooks, and status updates for stakeholders and program leaders.

Requirements8

  • 13+ years of experience testing electronics and PCBs, including bring-up and integration.
  • 2Hands-on proficiency with test equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and spectrum analyzers.
  • 3Experience with Python scripting for automation, data collection, and log analysis.
  • 4Familiarity with Linux command-line environments for debugging and tooling.
  • 5Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • 6Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and test setup failures in a lab environment.
  • 7Comfort working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and multiple deliverables.
  • 8Ability to lift and move moderate-weight equipment in a team setting.
