Overview
This is a unique remote opportunity for seasoned revenue cycle executives to help shape next-generation AI tools for healthcare finance. You'll evaluate AI-generated analyses, strategic recommendations, and operational plans—applying your hands-on RCM expertise to improve accuracy and real-world viability. Your insights will directly influence AI systems designed to reduce revenue leakage, optimize payer reimbursement, and drive sustainable financial performance.
What You'll Do7
- 1Provide executive-level strategic direction for the entire revenue cycle, including patient access, coding, billing, denials management, and collections.
- 2Assess AI-produced revenue cycle analyses and improvement plans for accuracy, feasibility, and practical impact.
- 3Evaluate AI solutions that automate workflows, spot revenue leakage, and improve payer reimbursement.
- 4Define and track enterprise KPIs such as net collection rate, days in A/R, denial rate, cost-to-collect, and cash collections.
- 5Develop revenue cycle improvement strategies aligned with overall financial goals, and oversee payer contracting and relationship management.
- 6Collaborate with clinical, finance, compliance, and IT leaders to integrate revenue cycle initiatives across the organization, and present performance insights to executives, boards, and investors.
- 7Provide structured feedback and annotations on AI outputs to help train and refine models.
Requirements6
- 110+ years of progressive revenue cycle leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a VP, Sr. Director, or equivalent executive role.
- 2Deep end-to-end RCM expertise spanning front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end operations, including managed care contracting and reimbursement optimization.
- 3Strong financial management experience, including P&L ownership, budgeting, and performance reporting.
- 4Proven success leading large-scale revenue cycle transformation in health systems, hospitals, or large physician groups.
- 5Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with executive-level presentation ability, and comfort working independently in a fully remote environment.
- 6Ability to synthesize complex performance data and AI-generated insights into strategic action.
