Retail Territory Manager, DSD & Merchandising
Overview
You will own retail execution for Mondelēz brands across Charlotte, NC and nearby markets, driving Direct Store Delivery (DSD) success. You lead a team of Merchandisers to hit sales targets and build store partnerships. This role blends strategy, agility, and people skills in a fast-changing retail environment. You make every store visit count, from display optimization to solving on-the-spot challenges.
What You'll Do10
- 1Hit monthly and quarterly sales targets by executing retail selling plans across assigned accounts.
- 2Lead and inspire Merchandisers from hiring to coaching and performance reviews.
- 3Drive flawless rollout of sales priorities and merchandising programs in-store.
- 4Provide on-site sales consultation to secure incremental opportunities and execute HQ programs.
- 5Design data-driven strategies tailored to store demographics to fuel territory growth.
- 6Build strong relationships with store personnel to identify and capture opportunities.
- 7Deploy merchandisers and order writers to maximize shelf impact and sales volume.
- 8Oversee product ordering, display execution, and unsaleables management with Full-Time Order Writers.
- 9Create a smart store schedule that strengthens relationships and drives results.
- 10Operate within safety and operational guidelines to keep every store visit compliant.
Requirements7
- 1Valid driver's license and at least 18 years of age.
- 2High School Diploma or GED; college degree strongly preferred.
- 33-5 years of selling experience with strong business process knowledge.
- 4Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- 5Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally, plus push and pull.
- 6Pass drug test, MVR check, and background check.
- 7Live within 40 miles of the listed cities: Charlotte, Waxhaw, Pineville, Marvin, Matthews, Fort Mill, or Lancaster.
