What You'll Do9
- 1Supervise daily retail transactions and reconcile cash handling up to $5,000 per shift.
- 2Hire, train, and schedule outlet staff, ensuring compliance with service standards and labor guidelines.
- 3Order, receive, and inventory merchandise and supplies for all five outlets, maintaining par levels.
- 4Build vendor and guest relationships to resolve issues and drive repeat business.
- 5Coordinate staff performance evaluations and provide coaching to improve service quality.
- 6Ensure cleanliness and organization of retail spaces, meeting brand standards at Holiday Inn Club Vacations.
- 7Support front-line associates during peak hours, handling escalated guest concerns.
- 8Audit cash registers and POS transactions daily, flagging discrepancies for immediate correction.
- 9Carry out any reasonable management request to maintain operational continuity.
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or GED required, plus 1+ year retail supervisory experience.
- 22+ years cash handling experience, including managing tills up to $5,000.
- 3Proficiency with POS systems and adding machines for transaction processing.
- 4Demonstrated ability to train and motivate a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
- 5Strong organizational skills for inventory control and ordering, with inventory software experience preferred.
- 6Excellent verbal communication in English for guest and staff interactions.
- 7Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 25 pounds for stocking duties.
- 8Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts due to resort operations.
