Front Desk Specialist, Resort Hospitality
Overview
Own the guest experience from check-in to check-out at a Holiday Inn Club Vacations resort in Phoenix, Arizona. Handle folio transactions, room assignments, and guest inquiries while supporting the Marketing Face-to-Face team. Work part-time onsite in a fast-paced resort environment. This role combines front desk operations with technical problem-solving to deliver memorable stays.
What You'll Do8
- 1Facilitate the full guest journey from check-in to check-out, including room changes, inventory moves, and folio adjustments using resort software.
- 2Create and issue keys while maintaining safety and security protocols for all owners and guests.
- 3Answer guest inquiries, clarify needs, and resolve concerns with urgency and satisfaction, escalating to the right resort personnel when needed.
- 4Handle cash transactions: maintain a house bank, perform end-of-day reporting, cash checks, calculate visit costs, and verify credit.
- 5Print and review reports to complete daily assignments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- 6Communicate with Housekeeping to expedite unit cleaning and turnarounds.
- 7Provide technical support in the business center, including Wi-Fi access, to ensure seamless connectivity for guests.
- 8Assist with owner or guest room assignment concerns by dedicating extra time during check-in.
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or a combination of training and experience.
- 21+ year of customer service experience required.
- 31+ year of front desk experience in a resort or hotel preferred.
- 4Bilingual is a plus.
- 5Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- 6Ability to learn timeshare ware applications quickly.
- 7Basic knowledge of hardware and peripheral devices (e.g., printers, card readers).
- 8Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- 9Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- 10Commitment to outstanding customer service and building effective working relationships.
