Overview

You will own the guest experience at the front desk of a mountain resort hotel, handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests with 5-star hospitality. You are the first point of contact for guests from around the world, setting the tone for their stay. You will work with a team of hospitality professionals who share a passion for the outdoors and creating memorable experiences. What You'll Do9

  • 1Check guests in and out using the hotel's property management system, verifying reservations and issuing room keys.
  • 2Answer phone calls and resolve guest inquiries, from booking changes to local activity recommendations, with a friendly and professional tone.
  • 3Resolve guest billing discrepancies by reviewing charges and correcting errors in the PMS.
  • 4Maintain a polished appearance and demeanor, representing the resort's brand at all times.
  • 5Handle guest requests for extra amenities, late check-outs, or special accommodations, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance.
  • 6Collaborate with the front office team to ensure smooth shift handovers and consistent service standards.
  • 7Assist with group check-ins and VIP arrivals, anticipating needs to exceed expectations.
  • 8Process payments and maintain accurate cash drawer balances, following resort policies.
  • 9Support other departments as needed, such as concierge or reservations, to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements8

  • 11+ year of customer service experience, preferably in hospitality or retail.
  • 2High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • 4Computer proficiency with ability to learn new software quickly (experience with PMS like Opera or Salesforce is a plus).
  • 518+ years of age due to state regulations.
  • 6Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
  • 7Professional appearance and demeanor, representing the resort brand.
  • 8Strong problem-solving skills to handle guest concerns calmly and effectively.
