Front Desk Agent, Hospitality & Guest Services
Overview
As the first point of contact at our private club, you will own the guest experience from arrival to departure. You will handle check-in, payments, and concierge-level requests for a high-end membership. Working with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security, you will coordinate seamless stays. This role stands out for its focus on personalized service in an exclusive club environment. You will become an expert in Opera Cloud and club operations. Your warm welcome will set the tone for every visit.
What You'll Do10
- 1Greet members and guests with a warm welcome, setting a positive tone for their visit.
- 2Execute check-in and check-out flows, confirming reservations, room rates, and payment methods.
- 3Provide accurate details on club amenities, events, and local attractions to enhance guest stays.
- 4Resolve guest requests and concerns with professionalism, escalating to management when needed.
- 5Process cash, credit card, and check payments, balancing your cash drawer each shift.
- 6Issue room keys and protect guest information confidentiality and security.
- 7Answer phone calls, route them correctly, and relay messages with precision.
- 8Deliver mail, packages, and faxes to guests, ensuring timely arrival.
- 9Keep the front desk and lobby organized and welcoming, following club standards.
- 10Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and report incidents.
Requirements9
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 21+ year of customer service or front desk experience, preferably in hospitality or a club.
- 3Strong interpersonal and communication skills for guest interactions.
- 4Excellent attention to detail and organizational follow-through.
- 5Proficiency in computer systems and ability to learn Opera Cloud.
- 6Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while staying composed.
- 7Flexible schedule covering weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- 8Reliable and punctual attendance is mandatory.
- 9Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
