Retail Store Manager, Bath & Body - Disney World
Overview
You'll run the daily operations of our new store at Disney's Boardwalk Hotel, leading a team to hit sales and growth targets. You'll own scheduling, inventory, hiring, and training, and partner with corporate leadership through the Store Operations Team. Your success comes from preparing Guest Experience Managers and Coaches to execute daily, weekly, and monthly goals. This role stands out because you'll launch a brand-new location with training at our existing Walt Disney World stores, all while promoting ethical, cruelty-free products.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build a strategic shift plan that aligns daily tasks with store goals and revenue targets.
- 2Lead your Guest Experience Managers and Coaches to motivate and develop the entire team.
- 3Own the full employee lifecycle from hiring through performance reviews and development.
- 4Coordinate inventory counts, product display prep, and store cleanliness to maintain brand standards.
- 5Resolve customer, vendor, and maintenance issues on the spot, escalating only critical matters.
- 6Model exceptional guest interactions through product demos and consultations for your team.
- 7Train sales staff on Basin's product line, ensuring they can answer customer questions.
- 8Ensure cash handling and daily financial reconciliation are completed accurately each shift.
- 9Work a varied schedule including days, nights, and weekends to cover store needs.
- 10Prepare the store for safe and secure operation, addressing any safety hazards immediately.
Requirements9
- 13+ years in retail management, preferably in a specialty or boutique environment.
- 2Proven track record of leading a team to exceed sales goals in a high-volume store.
- 3Strong skills in scheduling, inventory management, and employee relations.
- 4Experience with point-of-sale systems and daily cash reconciliation procedures.
- 5Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to handle customer and staff issues.
- 6Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- 7Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, including at Disney locations.
- 8High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- 9Passion for ethical, cruelty-free products and a customer-first mindset.
