Retail Stocking Team Supervisor (Back of House)
Overview
You will own the entire Back of House operation at a Burlington store, directing merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor. You lead a team of stock associates, coaching them daily and ensuring productivity targets hit. Reporting to Store Management, you work alongside them to keep the store fully stocked and guest-ready. What You'll Do9
- 1Lead the merchandise progression process, from receiving deliveries to sorting cartons and flowing goods to the sales floor.
- 2Direct associates in unloading trucks, processing merchandise, and maintaining back of house cleanliness and organization standards.
- 3Enforce asset protection strategies to reduce shortage and promote safety for customers and associates.
- 4Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards, coaching in the moment and recognizing wins.
- 5Own team productivity results and merchandise protection, holding associates accountable for performance.
- 6Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates to build a strong team.
- 7Participate in weekly workload planning meetings to align on priorities and scheduling.
- 8Coordinate meal and break periods, monitoring schedule adherence to keep operations running smoothly.
- 9Drive community relations participation through company programs and partnerships.
Requirements4
- 11+ year of supervisory experience in an off-price, big box, or specialty retail environment.
- 2Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, engaging attitude.
- 3Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 4Ability to move, handle, and lift merchandise weighing 40 lbs or more, and stand/walk for extended periods.
Salary Insight
