What You'll Do10
- 1Supervise all store functions and associates while in the role of Manager on Duty
- 2Maximize sales results through training developing and coaching of direct reports
- 3Promote safety for both customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines
- 4Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration
- 5Solve issues making informed decisions and supervising front-end operations to ensure exceptional friendly professional customer service
- 6Reinforce asset protection strategies to eliminate shortages
- 7Assist in recruiting interviewing and onboarding new associates
- 8Participate in weekly workload planning meetings
- 9Drive community relations participation through company programs and partnerships
- 10Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence
Requirements5
- 1At least 1 year supervisory experience within an off-price big box or specialty environment
- 2Strong interpersonal skills with a positive engaging attitude
- 3Ability to work full-time including nights weekends and holidays
- 4Ability to move handle lift merchandise weighing 40 lbs or more and stand/walk for extended periods
- 5Commitment to growth through training and development opportunities
