Overview
You will own the sales floor experience at Macy's Stonebriar Centre, ensuring merchandise is displayed, priced, and signposted to drive sales. What You'll Do9
- 1Greet customers with a smile, make eye contact, and engage in friendly conversation to understand their needs.
- 2Recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, restocking merchandise and maintaining a clean, organized space throughout your shift.
- 3Update pricing and promotional signage to ensure accuracy and compliance with company directives.
- 4Reset floor layouts and update mannequins to align with visual merchandising standards, setting the tone for an impactful shopping experience.
- 5Replenish merchandise on the floor, supporting product moves and ensuring shelves and racks are fully stocked.
- 6Share Macy's loyalty program benefits and open new credit accounts to drive sales and customer retention.
- 7Process register transactions using point-of-sale technology, handling payments and returns with accuracy.
- 8Collaborate with colleagues across departments to meet shared sales goals and elevate the customer experience.
- 9Finish strong each shift by reorganizing your department and preparing the space for the next day's success.
Requirements9
- 11+ years in a customer-facing retail role, with a focus on sales and service.
- 2Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- 3Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift up to 50 lbs., with frequent reaching, stooping, and climbing ladders.
- 4Strong communication skills to connect with customers and colleagues, including effective English reading and comprehension.
- 5Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience.
- 6Demonstrated ability to create a welcoming, friendly environment and build meaningful customer conversations.
