Overview
Own customer interactions across all store touchpoints at Macy's Mall at Rockingham Park, driving cross-category sales and building loyalty. You'll engage shoppers in-store and through My Client and social media, making tailored product recommendations. Collaborate with peers, leaders, and brand partners to resolve challenges and elevate service. This role balances selling with operational tasks like floor readiness and event execution, offering variety and growth.
What You'll Do7
- 1Greet customers warmly, create personal connections, and identify their needs to make tailored product recommendations.
- 2Drive sales by meeting daily goals, opening Macy's credit accounts, and promoting loyalty program benefits.
- 3Maintain a shoppable floor: recover merchandise, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves.
- 4Use digital tools like My Client and social media to build client relationships and follow up on purchases.
- 5Collaborate with team members to resolve customer issues and improve the overall shopping experience.
- 6Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash register transactions and handling handheld equipment.
- 7Stay informed on new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions to engage customers with confidence.
Requirements8
- 12+ years of selling or customer experience, preferred.
- 2Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- 3Ability to stand for 2+ consecutive hours, lift up to 25 lbs., and climb ladders.
- 4Comfort using electronic devices, including cash registers and handheld equipment.
- 5Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- 6Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- 7Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- 8Authorization to work in the US.
