Overview
As the At Your Service Center Associate, you own the customer's end-to-end fulfillment journey, handling Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), returns, and curbside delivery at Woodlands Mall. You are the face of Macy's hospitality, ensuring every pickup is seamless and every return is resolved with care. Operating within a high-traffic retail environment, you balance customer interactions, order accuracy, and inventory organization. You collaborate with store teams to meet daily sales goals and drive customer loyalty through Macy's credit and rewards programs. This role distinguishes itself by placing you at the center of omnichannel retail, where your problem-solving and service excellence directly shape the customer's perception of the brand.
What You'll Do8
- 1Manage BOPS order pickups, ensuring accuracy and speed from notification to handoff, including curbside delivery.
- 2Process merchandise returns with empathy and efficiency, using point-of-sale systems to complete transactions accurately.
- 3Maintain a clean and organized At Your Service area, restocking supplies and recovering merchandise to create a welcoming space.
- 4Engage customers with genuine hospitality, opening Macy's credit accounts and explaining loyalty benefits to drive enrollment.
- 5Collaborate with sales teams to stay informed on promotions and new arrivals, using that knowledge to assist customers and upsell.
- 6Meet daily sales goals by proactively offering assistance and promoting Macy's credit and rewards programs.
- 7Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing customer needs and resolving issues with sound judgment.
- 8Operate handheld devices and cash registers proficiently, ensuring all transactions are processed without error.
Requirements7
- 11+ years in customer service or retail, with a passion for helping people.
- 2Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with consistent attendance.
- 3Strong verbal communication skills in English, able to engage with customers and colleagues clearly.
- 4Ability to make prompt decisions and resolve customer issues with a customer-first mindset.
- 5Comfortable using point-of-sale systems, handheld devices, and computers for daily tasks.
- 6Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and reach, stoop, or climb ladders.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience with BOPS or returns is a plus.
