Overview
You own the first impression at Fastbreak, Hilton Orlando's high-volume dining outlet. You seat guests, manage the flow, and deliver standout service that turns a quick meal into a memorable stay. You work alongside a close-knit team of servers, bussers, and managers, reporting to the Restaurant Supervisor. This role asks for warmth, speed, and precision in a Marriott-managed property, with Hilton's travel perks and benefits backing you from day one.
What You'll Do7
- 1Greet each guest with a warm welcome and determine their needs within the first 30 seconds of arrival.
- 2Seat guests and manage the seating chart to balance server sections and minimize wait times.
- 3Monitor dining activity to keep table turnover steady and respond to guest requests promptly.
- 4Answer questions about menu items, specials, and hotel amenities with confidence and accuracy.
- 5Handle special requests for seating, high chairs, or accessibility needs with grace and efficiency.
- 6Support opening and closing duties, including stocking napkins, rolling silverware, and setting up host stand supplies.
- 7Coordinate with the kitchen and serving team to ensure a seamless guest flow during peak hours.
Requirements6
- 11+ years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality role, with direct guest contact.
- 2Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
- 3Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
- 4Strong verbal communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish or Creole is a plus.
- 5Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is preferred.
- 6Positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality, as outlined in Hilton's core values.
