What You'll Do5
- 1Perform diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures as defined in the Respiratory Care Services scope of practice and physician orders
- 2Maintain proficiency with respiratory and blood gas lab modalities and equipment
- 3Communicate effectively with interprofessional care teams
- 4Document and bill services in the electronic medical record
- 5Serve as an ambassador for the department and Center showcasing exceptional customer service skills
Requirements8
- 1Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from a COARC accredited program
- 2Advanced Care Life Support ACLS certification
- 3Basic Life Support BLS certification
- 4Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RT) licensure
- 5Minimum 5+ years of relevant respiratory therapy experience
- 6Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- 7Preferred field of study in respiratory care
- 8Ability to obtain additional training if other licensure is provided
