Overview
Lead respiratory care services for neonatal pediatric patients at Lurie Children’s Hospital. Provide compassionate care using advanced equipment and protocols. What You'll Do10
- 1Perform respiratory care according to hospital policies and protocols
- 2Conduct patient assessments and analyze lab data to inform care plans
- 3Institute and troubleshoot respiratory equipment including ventilators and oxygen systems
- 4Provide airway care and deliver inhaled medications
- 5Maintain sterilization standards for respiratory devices
- 6Communicate with families and clinical teams to address patient needs
- 7Anticipate emergencies and intervene effectively
- 8Support pediatric intensive care and neonatal units with specialized expertise
- 9Implement therapeutic gas protocols using heliox and nitric oxide
- 10Monitor patient progress and recommend care plan revisions
Requirements7
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Associate Degree in Respiratory Care or related field
- 3Active RRT certification from National Board for Respiratory Care
- 4Basic Life Support Certification from American Heart Association
- 5Ability to communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- 6Critical thinking skills and adaptability to changing clinical environments
- 7Experience with chemical disinfection and sterilization processes
