What You'll Do11
- 1Recommend changes in respiratory care plans based on documented medical necessity and established protocols
- 2Instruct and coach patients before during and after treatment delivery to prevent and resolve side effects
- 3Adjust therapies according to protocol and clinical criteria using data such as pulse oximetry peak flow measurements and arterial blood gases
- 4Initiate and maintain mechanical ventilation determining ventilator modes and settings while reevaluating patient interfaces every four hours
- 5Draw analyze arterial blood gases place arterial lines and recommend respiratory management adjustments
- 6Respond to emergencies establish airways and perform CPR
- 7Support cardiopulmonary diagnostics performing stress tests Holter monitoring ECGs pulmonary function testing and EEGs per facility needs
- 8Assist with advanced services like conscious sedation bronchotherapy and endobronchial ultrasound
- 9Supervise delivery of cardiopulmonary care ensuring policy compliance and monitor patient progress through regular assessments
- 10Serve as educational resource to staff patients and families providing clear communication and thorough documentation
- 11Continuously improve performance while maintaining high professional standards
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of experience
- 3Associate degree in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Science
- 4Required experience in acute care environments with blood gas laboratory management
- 5Required licenses: Respiratory Therapist RRT Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert ACLS Basic Life Support CPR Cert Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS Stable Certification Preferred
- 6Physical requirements available via provided link
- 7Must possess bachelor's degree preferred field of study in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Science
- 8Florida Level 2 background screening including fingerprinting required
