Overview
Tomorrow's Future Inc seeks an Executive Director to lead licensed child care administrator at a residential treatment center in Houston TX. The facility serves 14 female youth ages 5-17 and offers diverse therapeutic activities. This role requires strong leadership and direct care experience.
What You'll Do9
- 1Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation and personal hygiene
- 2Provide supervision during skills building activities
- 3Develop and implement individual treatment plans
- 4Maintain accurate daily and weekly case notes
- 5Ensure appropriate staff-to-client ratios at all times
- 6Supervise residents during creative play and community outings
- 7Transport children to visits and scheduled activities
- 8Coordinate with staff to update documentation
- 9Organize kitchen and cleaning duties as needed
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or GED (applicants under 16 considered)
- 2Experience caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- 3Valid driver's license
- 4Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- 5Background check clearance
- 6Child neglect and abuse training completion
- 7Tuberculosis negative screening
- 82 years caregiving experience
- 9CPR certification preferred
- 10Preference for day night overnight shifts
- 11Ability to commute from Houston TX 77004
