Overview
The Residential Supervisor oversees overnight operations for ACH Child and Family Services in Dallas Texas. This role leads performance management for direct care staff ensures TBRI implementation and manages staffing 24/7. Responsibilities include on-floor leadership coaching and supporting Youth Care Specialists and Lead YCS.
What You'll Do12
- 1Lead performance management cycle for direct care staff while ensuring consistent implementation of youth treatment plans and TBRI across all shifts
- 2Oversee daily program operations and maintain quality care and safety for youth
- 3Provide hands-on leadership responding to staffing and operational needs including nights weekends holidays and emergencies
- 4Observe model and coach staff spending at least 75 percent of shift
- 5Schedule staff maintain supervision ratios and conduct regular supervision coaching and performance evaluations
- 6Support onboarding and training new direct care staff to ensure consistent TBRI treatment model
- 7Identify training trends and recommend improvements to Director
- 8Coordinate shift responsibilities delegate tasks to meet program and youth needs
- 9Lead staff with empathy balance support coaching and clear expectations
- 10Track and support program team and individual goals for direct reports
- 11Participate in interview and hiring process for YCS and Lead YCS
- 12Provide on-call or after-hours support in rotating schedule
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 2One year direct care experience
- 3Experience leading or managing a team
- 4One year people management experience preferred
- 5One year TBRI or similar care model experience preferred
- 6Valid Texas driver's license and willingness to transport clients
- 7Bachelor's degree in human service field preferred
- 824/7 availability for evening weekend holiday and emergency coverage
- 9Ability to perform on-the-spot coaching and address performance concerns
- 10Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and documentation requirements
