What You'll Do11
- 1Build comprehensive maintenance plans for residential units covering plumbing electrical and HVAC systems
- 2Diagnose and resolve appliance malfunctions through hands-on troubleshooting and vendor coordination
- 3Execute painting drywall replacement and flooring repairs to uphold property aesthetics
- 4Prepare units for occupancy by managing turn-over procedures and maintaining organized maintenance inventory
- 5Conduct thorough safety inspections to identify and remediate potential hazards swiftly
- 6Provide on-call emergency support for urgent building-related maintenance needs
- 7Lead small teams during peak periods while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations
- 8Maintain cleanliness and organization within the maintenance work area
- 9Develop relationships with local vendors to secure timely parts and services
- 10Train new hires on proper equipment usage and safety protocols
- 11Track tool inventory and recommend procurement strategies for essential supplies
Requirements8
- 1High School diploma or equivalent plus proven handyman experience
- 2Certified in EPA 608 Universal technical certification or capable of obtaining required credentials
- 3Valid driver's license and ability to lift over 50 pounds
- 4Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi software
- 53-5 years of relevant field experience
- 6Demonstrated knowledge of building codes and safety standards
- 7Excellent problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- 8Work authorization for on-site employment
