Relationship Manager Program - Middle Market Banking
Overview
You will own a portfolio of middle market clients with annual revenues from $50 million to $2 billion, driving revenue growth and acting as their trusted advisor. You will collaborate with specialists in Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, and Wealth Management to deliver integrated financial solutions. This 12-month development program builds credit and sales skills, preparing you for a Senior Relationship Manager role. You will gain exposure to complex financial strategies and build a network across Bank of America's global platform.
What You'll Do7
- 1Own client relationships for middle market accounts, assessing needs and recommending tailored solutions across credit, treasury, and merchant services.
- 2Generate new business by prospecting, leveraging referrals, and converting leads into revenue within the first 90 days.
- 3Collaborate with product specialists in Treasury Management, Merchant Services, and Investment Banking to deliver integrated solutions.
- 4Build and execute a business plan to maximize portfolio profitability, tracking performance against targets.
- 5Analyze financial statements and industry trends to advise clients on strategic decisions.
- 6Partner with internal teams to onboard and develop client team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- 7Manage risk by ensuring all recommendations align with compliance frameworks and credit policies.
Requirements7
- 110+ years of sales experience with proven revenue generation and client relationship building.
- 2SIE, Series 7, and 63 licenses required within 180 days of start date.
- 3Strong business development skills with a track record of closing deals.
- 4Ability to interpret audited and unaudited financial statements.
- 5Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or economics preferred; MBA desirable.
- 6Established network of referral sources and centers of influence is preferred.
- 7Demonstrated resilience and commitment to continuous learning.
