What You'll Do9
- 1Acquire and deepen profitable relationships with middle market clients, using prospecting and existing account growth strategies to expand the portfolio.
- 2Lead client dialogues on industry trends, alternative capital structures, and business issues, bringing a consultative approach to complex financial decisions.
- 3Collaborate with Product Specialists in Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services to design and deliver integrated financial solutions.
- 4Interpret financial and cash flow statements to assess company health and identify lending and investment opportunities.
- 5Coach and mentor peers, leveraging leadership skills to foster team development and knowledge sharing.
- 6Drive business development by identifying referral opportunities and converting them into profitable relationships.
- 7Adapt to changes in sales practices and market conditions, adjusting strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
- 8Facilitate client relationships with internal partners, ensuring seamless service delivery across the bank.
- 9Manage a pipeline of prospects and existing clients, tracking progress and outcomes to meet performance targets.
Requirements10
- 110+ years in broad based commercial lending, corporate finance, or relationship management with a proven track record of success.
- 2Existing knowledge of the local market, including active networking contacts and Centers of Influence, is highly desirable.
- 3Demonstrated ability to manage an extensive portfolio of middle market clients, with revenues exceeding $100 million.
- 4Proven sales skills, including planning, execution, and follow-up of client meetings, with a history of closing profitable transactions.
- 5Strong corporate finance, capital markets, and accounting acumen, including financial modeling experience and completion of formal credit training.
- 6Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated leadership ability.
- 7Capable of organizing, facilitating, leading, and negotiating with a team of bank associates to solve client problems.
- 8Must obtain SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses within 180 days of start date.
- 9Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; an MBA is desirable.
- 10Active membership or participation in local community organizations is preferred.
