Overview
As a Relationship Banker at Santander Bank, you will own the full client relationship, managing a portfolio of 100+ accounts and driving $2M+ in annual sales. What You'll Do9
- 1Achieve or exceed sales targets by actively promoting and cross-selling banking products and services to existing and prospective customers.
- 2Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
- 3Prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, lead calling, portfolio management, and community engagement.
- 4Deliver personalized, seamless, and attentive service to ensure an elevated customer experience.
- 5Engage customers through digital platforms and educate them on self-service options.
- 6Communicate clearly and effectively with customers in person, over the phone, or through digital channels.
- 7Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense.
- 8Collaborate with team members and partners to achieve branch goals and drive overall performance.
- 9Support nearby branch locations based on business necessity.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 23+ years experience selling products and/or services in an incentive-based environment, OR 12+ months in retail banking sales, financial services sales, or consultative relationship sales, OR 12+ months demonstrated successful Santander experience with endorsement.
- 312+ months customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, and constantly changing environment.
- 4Established relationship-building skills with a focus on customer experience and loyalty.
- 5Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
- 6Proven track record in sales and cross-selling products and services.
- 7Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- 8Excellent communication, consultative, and influence skills, both verbal and written.
- 9Proficient in using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement.
- 10Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
